After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards Barkot, the first major overnight destination on the Yamunotri route.

The drive takes you through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Uttarakhand. As the journey progresses, the scenery changes from the plains to winding mountain roads, green valleys and panoramic Himalayan surroundings.

En route, visit Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. Kempty Falls is one of the popular attractions of the Mussoorie region and offers an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the hills.

After exploring the attractions, continue the drive towards Barkot.

Barkot is a peaceful hill town and an important base for pilgrims travelling towards Yamunotri. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax.

The evening can be spent resting and preparing for the next day's Yamunotri pilgrimage, which involves a trek.

Barkot Weather: The weather is generally pleasant during summer, with temperatures usually ranging around 25–30°C. Winter days are comparatively cool while nights can become cold.

36 Kms Drive & 6 Kms Trek One Way | Height: 3,235 MTS

This is one of the most important days of the Char Dham Yatra as you proceed towards Yamunotri Dham, the first of the four sacred shrines.

After an early breakfast, drive towards Jankichatti / Phoolchatti, from where the trek towards Yamunotri begins. The trek is approximately 6 Kms one way.

Pilgrims can complete the trek by walking or choose available pony / Doli services at their own cost, depending on availability and local operating conditions.

The route offers beautiful views of the Himalayan landscape, mountain streams and surrounding valleys. After reaching Yamunotri, pilgrims can take a holy bath in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund before proceeding for Darshan.

Visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, and offer prayers for blessings and well-being. Pilgrims can also offer Pooja at Divya Shila, an important religious spot located near the temple.

Yamunotri is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and has great spiritual significance in Hindu tradition. The hot springs near the temple are also an important feature of the pilgrimage.

After Darshan, begin the trek back towards Jankichatti / Phoolchatti.

From here, drive back towards Barkot.

The evening is kept for rest after the day's pilgrimage and trekking.

Yamunotri Weather: During summer, the maximum temperature can generally remain around 18°C while nights can be considerably cooler. Warm clothing is recommended.

100 Kms / 4 Hrs | Height: 1,352 MTS

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Uttarkashi, an important spiritual town situated on the banks of the River Ganga.

The journey takes you through scenic Himalayan roads and beautiful mountain surroundings. Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check into the hotel and relax.

Later, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the important religious attractions in Uttarkashi. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds considerable significance among pilgrims visiting this region.

Uttarkashi is also known for its numerous temples, ashrams and spiritual atmosphere. The town's name reflects its association with Kashi and its location on the banks of the River Ganga adds to its religious importance.

Spend the evening relaxing at the hotel or exploring the nearby surroundings, depending on the day's travel schedule.

The stay in Uttarkashi also prepares pilgrims for the next day's journey towards Gangotri Dham.

100 Kms / 3–4 Hrs Each Side | Height: 3,048 MTS

After an early breakfast, begin the journey towards Gangotri Dham, the second sacred destination of the Char Dham Yatra.

En route, visit Gangnani, where pilgrims can take a holy dip in the warm waters of Garam Kund. The journey then continues through the beautiful Himalayan surroundings towards Harsil.

One of the highlights of today's journey is the scenic Harsil Valley, known for its peaceful environment, Deodar trees, mountain views and natural beauty. The drive through this region provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the landscapes of the higher Himalayas. Continue towards Gangotri.

On arrival, visit the revered Gangotri Temple and seek blessings. Gangotri is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations associated with the origin of the

River Ganga. The river is known as Bhagirathi at its origin.

Pilgrims can spend time near the sacred river, perform Pooja and Darshan and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the temple.

After completing the Darshan, begin the return journey towards Uttarkashi.

The return drive again passes through the beautiful Himalayan scenery and Harsil Valley.

Gangotri Weather: During summer, temperatures can remain pleasant during the daytime, while nights are cooler. Light woollen clothing is recommended. The region becomes extremely cold during winter and remains affected by heavy snowfall.

220 Kms / 8–9 Hrs | Height: 1,319 MTS

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the long scenic journey towards Guptkashi, an important stopover on the Kedarnath route.

The drive takes you through the mountain regions of Uttarakhand via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. The route offers beautiful views of the Himalayan landscape, valleys and rivers.

At Tilwara, you can enjoy views of the Mandakini River, which originates from the Kedarnath region. The journey continues alongside the river as you gradually move towards Guptkashi.

Upon arrival in Guptkashi, visit the Ardhanarishwar Temple, an important religious attraction of the town.

Guptkashi holds a special place in the mythology associated with Kedarnath. The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Kashi”. According to traditional beliefs, Lord Shiva concealed himself here while the Pandavas were searching for him.

After temple Darshan, check into the hotel and relax.

The evening is kept free to prepare for the following day's Kedarnath Yatra.

Approx. 30 Kms by Road & 19 Kms Trek One Way | Height: 3,384 MTS

Today is one of the most significant days of the entire Char Dham Yatra as you proceed towards the sacred Kedarnath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Sonprayag / the designated parking point for the Kedarnath Yatra.

Due to local road and traffic regulations, vehicles are generally permitted only up to designated points. From there, pilgrims proceed towards Kedarnath using the available travel options.

The traditional route involves trekking towards Kedarnath. The trek is approximately 19 Kms one way. Pilgrims can undertake the journey by walking or use pony / Doli services at their own cost, subject to availability.

Helicopter services can also be availed separately, subject to weather, government regulations, operational conditions and availability.

Upon reaching Kedarnath, proceed for Darshan at the revered Kedarnath Temple.

Kedarnath is one of the most sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located at an altitude of approximately 3,384 metres. The temple is surrounded by magnificent Himalayan peaks, creating a spiritually powerful and breathtaking setting.

According to traditional beliefs, the Pandavas sought the blessings of Lord Shiva at Kedarnath. The shrine is therefore deeply connected with Hindu mythology and pilgrimage traditions.

After Darshan, spend some time in the sacred surroundings.

Overnight stay at Kedarnath in basic accommodation / camp / guest house, subject to availability.

Important: There are no regular deluxe or luxury hotel facilities at Kedarnath due to its high-altitude location. Accommodation generally consists of camps, guest houses, Dharamshalas or other basic arrangements.

After completing the morning Darshan at Kedarnath, begin the return journey towards the designated pickup point.

Pilgrims will trek back towards the designated point where the vehicle transfer is available. Depending on the chosen mode of travel and local conditions, pony / Doli services may also be used at an additional cost.

Once you reach the designated pickup location, meet the driver and proceed towards Guptkashi.

The return journey provides another opportunity to experience the beautiful Himalayan scenery surrounding the Kedarnath valley.

After the physically demanding Kedarnath pilgrimage, the evening can be spent resting at the hotel.

160 Kms / 7 Hrs | Height: 3,133 MTS

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Badrinath Dham, the final major pilgrimage destination of the Char Dham circuit.

The journey takes you through beautiful Himalayan valleys and mountain roads. As you travel towards Badrinath, the surrounding landscape gradually changes with increasing altitude.

Upon arrival in Badrinath, check into the hotel and freshen up.

Later, pilgrims can take a holy bath in the naturally heated waters of Tapt Kund, traditionally considered an important part of the Badrinath pilgrimage.

Proceed for Darshan of Badrivishal at the famous Badrinath Temple. In the evening, pilgrims can attend the temple Darshan / Aarti, subject to the temple schedule and local conditions.

Badrinath is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage destinations in India and is considered one of the ancient Char Dhams. The temple is situated at an elevation of approximately 3,133 metres and is surrounded by the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, with the majestic Neelkanth Peak providing a spectacular backdrop.

If time permits, visit nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti, Charan Paduka, Bhim Kund and the Saraswati River area.

Mana Village is located close to Badrinath and is popularly known as one of the last inhabited villages near the Indo-Tibetan border.

Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Approx. 280 Kms / 9–10 Hrs

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards Rishikesh via Rudraprayag.

The route takes you through beautiful Himalayan valleys and offers scenic views of the mountains and rivers of Uttarakhand.

Proceed towards Rudraprayag, an important confluence point where the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers meet. Spend some time enjoying the natural surroundings before continuing the journey.

The drive then continues towards Rishikesh as the route gradually descends from the higher Himalayan region towards the foothills.

Rishikesh is one of the most important spiritual destinations in Uttarakhand and is situated on the banks of the River Ganga. After several days of pilgrimage and mountain travel, the city provides an opportunity to relax and unwind.

On arrival, check into the hotel.

Depending on arrival time, guests may spend the evening relaxing or exploring the nearby spiritual surroundings.

Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey towards Delhi / Jaipur.

As you leave Rishikesh, the journey marks the conclusion of your sacred Char Dham pilgrimage. The route takes you from the Himalayan foothills towards the plains.

Depending on the final destination and road conditions, the journey continues towards Delhi / Jaipur for your onward journey.

With the Darshan of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, along with the spiritual experiences gathered throughout the journey, the memorable Char Dham Yatra Package comes to an end.
